Sneak Peek: The Adeline Dress

The Adeline Dress is available now. Shop the Collection.

There is no dress sweeter than a good Peter Pan dress. And the Adeline manages to be both adorable and chic. When Mary, our chief creative officer, wore the Adeline on an errand one of the compliments she received was “Your dress is as cute as a button!”

We are sure you’ll receive the same types of compliments when you wear the Adeline. Speaking of buttons, this dress features four functional buttons down the bodice, making it nursing friendly.

The Adeline’s fabric is a soft, substantial and comfortable ponte de roma knit. You will love the high quality feel of this fabric.

Meanwhile, the sleek sleeves and straight skirt of the Adeline make sure this dress strikes a sophisticated balance. You can wear this dress to work, church, dinner dates or fun autumn adventures. Wherever you go, the Adeline’s incredible fabric and fit will keep you cozy in chilly weather.

More photos of the Adeline will be included in our full lookbook for fall/winter 2019. We send the lookbook soon to our email subscribers. Subscribe today and we’ll make sure you are fully prepared to shop when the Rose Collection launches in August.

All of your dresses are lovely. I had to smile when you mentioned sweaters, and safety pins as my daughters and I have often had to resort to this. I’m looking forward to August, but I do confess my apprehension at the cost of such beautiful wares. I am hoping that you will offer some dresses that are calf length rather then at or just below the knee. I think that your decision and reasoning for only offering dresses was a great one. I will keep that in mind when I consider the cost ! I love the idea of putting on a dress and only having to pick out shoes to be ready for the day. People will be tempting you to offer skirts, tops and pants but stick to your dream because I think simple is best and leaves your focus on dresses wide open for so many more lovely creations each season.

Thank you for your kind words!

We understand the price point is tough, but the vision of high quality dresses Made in the USA is what has led us to target a higher price.

We hope to help our customers justify that price by providing value in not only the quality of materials, the durability of our manufacturing, but in the knowledge that the dresses are ethically manufactured by workers we pay a fair wage to.

We are believers that a high quality modest dress you can wear over and over again is a much better value in the long run than a cheap, ill-fitted, poor fabric quality dress that you wear a few times then donate or discard.

Thank you for your feedback, we hope to have you as a customer!

I so agree with you! All of your star icons are glamorous and beautiful and so stylish. Heda Hopper designed all of Audrey Hepburn’s outfits, and I also think Paris Bloom could use DORIS DAY as an icon example of beautiful, stylish clothes!!

I love the pink sweater dress Audrey Cole is wearing in this article. I would buy it in a minute! But I’m guessing it’s not one of yours.
